Update: On Free Stuff Online
6 Months Ago, I posted an article on how to actually get things for free online.
In that article I spoke about finding things for free via BzzAgent & PinchMe, and I was in some initial experiments with AMZReviewTrader.
Since then I have ceased participating with BzzAgent & PinchMe. I have found filling out their surveys and checking their websites was costing me between 2 to 6 hours per product, not including the actual activities that they wanted completed as part of receiving the product (i.e. writing reviews, Facebook posts, tweeting, and recapping word of mouth interactions). And at the end the products were often worth less than $10 and required me to find the product at a department store or grocery store.
I have found that for an average of 5 to 10 minutes on AMZReviewTrader I can get 1 product sent to me for free, in addition to getting the free product often I will get either a $5.99 amazon prime pantry credit or a $1 amazon digital content credit. I then have to spend about 15 minutes writing a 250 word review about the product and attaching a couple photos to the review.
I have received 70+ products over the course of 1 month from AMZReviewTrader with adding up the list prices of these products it was $2,500+ of product, when adding up the sales price it was $700+ of product.
I ended up with over $50 of amazon digital content credits and more $5.99 amazon prime pantry credits than I could use.
